The ICFAI University, Tripura is a statutory University established under the ICFAI University Tripura Act 2004 (Act 8 of 2004) and approved by UGC. The University offers various programs at UG and PG level in engineering, technology, IT, computer science, management and education. Faculty Members 

The University is looking for competent faculty members in the following disciplines at Agartala, Tripura: 

Qualification: Candidates should have Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline from reputed Indian or foreign university. However, candidates with masters degree like ME/MTech/MPhil with brilliant academic record and adequate teaching and research experience will also be considered. Retired Teachers upto the age of 65 years and in good health will also be considered. 

Remuneration: ICFAI University offers attractive compensation package based on UGC/AICTE scales with liberal allowances and perks. Faculty members will be placed in suitable scales commensurate to their qualifications and experience. Faculty members are also encouraged to take up research and consultancy assignments with industry.

The ICFAI University, Tripura is a self financed university established under the Icfai University Tripura Act 2004 (Act 8 of 2004) and approved by the UGC under section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956.

The University offers various programs at UG and PG level in Engineering, Technology, IT, Computer Science, Management, Law and Education. A state-of-the-art University campus is being established near Agartala with academic block, hostels, workshops, laboratories and other facilities.

Pro-Vice Chancellor

The University is looking for a Pro-Vice Chancellor. The candidates should be dynamic and distinguished academicians with substantial experience in academic administration to be located at Agartala. The candidates should be Ph.D. in any discipline with minimum 15-20 years of experience at senior level and is expected to provide leadership to faculty and staff and contribute towards strategic and intellectual growth and development of the University. Retired Professors in good health can also apply.

Joint Registrar

The candidates should be postgraduates in any discipline with 6-10 years of experience in administration of the University/educational institution, should have good communication and interpersonal skills and should be computer savvy. The candidates should be in the age group of 45-50 years.

Salary and allowance will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and as per UGC scales with special North East area allowance.

Principal / Readers / Lecturers

The Icfai College of Education (ICE), a constituent of the Icfai University requires Principal, Readers and Lecturers at Agartala.

Principal: Candidates should be postgraduates in any discipline with M.Ed. from a reputed institution. They should hold a Ph.D. in education or equivalent published research work. They should possess 10 years of teaching experience including 5 years in teacher training institutions run as per the NCTE norms. They should have a flair for providing academic and administrative leadership.

Readers: Candidates should be M.Ed./M.A. (Education) with minimum 55% marks and Ph.D. in education or equivalent published work. They should possess minimum 5 years of teaching experience in teacher education institutions at postgraduate level as per NCTE norms. They should have a flair for research.

Lecturers: Lecturers are required in the following areas:

• Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology and Education

• Methods of Teaching:

  • Physical Sciences

  • Mathematics

  • Life Sciences

  • Social Studies w English

Candidates must be postgraduates in the concerned discipline and in education, with good academic record as per NCTE norms. Candidates with Ph.D. and NET qualification are preferred.

All candidates should be computer savvy. The Icfai University pays as per UGC scales after the completion of probation.
