Campus Development

  1. Land: 32 acres land has been identified for ICFAI University campus at Fatikchara about 10 kms from Agartala. 24.87 acres of land has already been acquired and construction work commenced. Acquisition process for balance of land is under progress with concerned authorities.

  2. Campus Construction: Initially ICFAI University campus, Agartala was planned with total covered area of 2,69,269 sq ft. Later the area has been enhanced to 3,17,829sq ft. The details of various buildings planned along with the covered area is given under:

The Campus construction for the first phase is expected to be ready by June 2007. All the institutions presently operating from leased premises are planned to be moved to new Campus during the academic year 2007- 08.

In the first phase the hostels will accommodate 400 students and the academic infrastructure being provided will cater to more than 2000 students.
