The
Dual Masters Program consists of two streams: MBA and CPA.
The
MBA stream is designed to provide both a portfolio of strong
functional skills and the ability to apply, adapt, synthesize and
integrate those skills into different management settings. The CPA
stream provides an in-depth understanding of accounting and
financial insights. The knowledge of which can be applied in
accounting and auditing services, taxation, consulting, research,
etc.
Through
the Dual Masters Program, the students may acquire two
career-oriented professional qualifications in management and
accounting and also save precious time. Instead of the normal
duration of 4 years (two years for MBA and two years for CPA) the
students of the Dual Masters Program may complete the same in 27
months.

For

the Dual Masters Program is the most suited. The MBA stream prepares
them for management and leadership positions. The CPA stream coupled
with appropriate choice of electives in MBA stream, deepens their
accounting and financial insights. This will be a unique skill-set

of instruction:
English.
Students
who have pursued their degree program in non-English medium are
advised to undergo proper preparatory courses in Business English so
that they can cope with the Dual Masters Program.
Validity
of enrolment
The
students are required to complete Stage I of the Dual Masters
Program within a maximum period of three years from the date of
enrolment. Students who are unable to complete Stage I within three
years, but are still keen on continuing in the program, are required
to register de novo by paying the requisite fee.

Common Approach
The
Dual Masters Program follows the following distinctive but
inter-related approaches :

Knowledge aimed at improving students' understanding
of certain fundamental phenomena and relationships underlying
the changing world of management and accounting.

and Techniques are required to equip students improve
their analytical ability and power of integration and
synthesis in the context of management and accounting.

Areas linking the theoretical studies to the practical
problems faced by managers, who need to be specialists (in
Accounting) and generalists (in Management).

Exit
Option
The
students of the Dual Masters Program can exercise the exit option
after successful completion of Stage I. Depending on their choice
they may exit from the Stage II of MBA stream and continue in Stage
II of CPA stream; or the otherway round. Then they pay reduced fee
as applicable to the MBA or CPA stream as per their choice.
