The phenomenal growth of the business and the globalization of markets is reflecting in the increased business activities and operations and advances in management tools and techniques. A wide range of financial products, addition of new management strategies, development of new socio-economic concepts have changed the global competitive market and legal environment.

In the wake of these interesting developments and the growing importance of finance, management and law in various specialized areas, the PG Diploma Programs are designed to cater to the needs of the professionals and students who are interested in these areas.

PG Diploma Programs

The PG Diploma Programs are offered in various areas of finance, law and management. The details of these programs are given from pages 8 to 43.

  • Graduates (any discipline).

  • Professionals like MBAs, CAs, CWAs, CSs who seek careers in finance, management and law.

  • Students pursuing programs like MBA, CA, CWA, CS, CAIIB and full-time postgraduate programs in commerce, economics, mathematics, statistics and management.

  • Working Executives, Entrepreneurs, Consultants, etc.

Eligibility

Graduation (any discipline) with 45% and above aggregate marks.

Medium of instruction: English

Students who have pursued their degree program in non-English medium are advised to undergo proper preparatory courses in Business English so that they can cope with the PG Diploma Programs.

Validity of enrollment

The validity of enrollment into the program is seven years from the date of enrollment. Students who are unable to complete the program within the validity period of seven years, but still keen on continuing the program, are required to register de novo by paying the requisite fee. Students who study regularly and appear for examinations every quarter may complete the program in 9-12 months.

3600 Flexi-mode

The PG Diploma Programs are based on study and examinations, with 3600 flexibility for students.

Self-Study : The University provides a detailed study plan and prescribed books specially designed meant for self-study.

Examinations: The examinations serve to finally assess and certify the students' understanding of the subjects.

The examinations are conceived, developed and administered on a rigorous system. The examinations are generally conducted on Sundays, four times a year in January, April, July and October. 

Fee

The fee for each of the PG Diploma Program is given in the fee schedule on page 46.

Award of PG Diploma

All students who successfully complete the respective programs will be awarded the Postgraduate Diploma (in the respective discipline) by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Tripura.

Students Regulations

The students who are enrolled into the PG Diploma Program will be provided with Students Regulations which contain the various rules and regulations pertaining to administering the program and the examinations.

Outline Curriculum

The curriculum for the PG Diploma Programs given in the respective pages is an outline curriculum and the detailed curriculum for the PG Diploma Programs will be provided to all the enrolled students. The outline curriculum given in this prospectus may be modified, revised, changed, deleted or added, from time to time depending on developments in the respective areas of study.
