Dr. Avula Ranganath is a distinguished academic and administrator at The ICFAI University, Tripura. He currently serves as a Professor in the Faculty of Education and has also held the position of Registrar at the university.

Dr. Ranganath's educational qualifications include: B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Solid State Physics, Thin Films, and Vacuum Technology from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, B.Ed. and M.Ed. degrees, Ph.D. in Education from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.

He has also qualified the NET in Education and holds the Rashtra Hindi Bhasha Praveena certification from Dakshina Bharatha Hindi Prachara Sabha, Madras. With over 30 years in the field of education, Dr. Ranganath has contributed extensively to teaching and research, particularly in physics and the methodology of teaching physical science.

At ICFAI University, he has been instrumental in organizing numerous seminars and workshops aimed at enhancing educational quality and teacher training. Dr. Ranganath has authored several publications focusing on education and teaching methodologies, including:"Methodology of Teaching Physical Science" (Volumes I &II),"Methodology of Teaching Mathematics" (Volumes I & II),"Creativity, Scientific Attitude and Attitude Towards Science of Prospective Science Teachers,""Quality in Higher Education: The Provision of the Vision."

His recent research includes studies on digital teaching competencies and occupational aspirations among students. Dr. Ranganath is a life member of several esteemed educational bodies, such as: All India Association for Educational Research (AIAER), Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), Indian Association of Teacher Educators (IATE).

Dr. Ranganath continues to contribute to the academic and administrative excellence of the university through his dynamic leadership and strong commitment to education and research.
